Optional, extra-credit pre-reading activity: Before reading
the stories and poems in this unit, spend some time thinking
about an experience that set up a challenge to you as you passed
from childhood to adulthood. Send an email message
describing this experience to the class small groups lists at
WEBCT.

each subunit.)

Send your topic descriptions for Essay 1 to WebCT.
Due: Sept. 22
Provide feedback to your peers on their initial drafts.
Send your feedback to your classmates via WebCT small group.
Email your draft to the instructor at glomc@DakotaCom.net.
Due: Oct. 1
Revise your draft, considering the feedback you received from
your peers and the instructor. Email your FINAL draft to the
instructor at glomc@DakotaCom.net.
