Activities The
following activities are designed to help you generate ideas for your Self-evaluation
paper. Please complete these activities before (or while) you draft your paper.
- Read for examples and
ideas. Read selections listed on Process 5 Readings.
While you read, look for what may apply to your situation and traits, attitudes, etc.
- Consider the
chart. At left, there is a chart. Use this as a way to see how to organize
your analysis of your personal points.
- Make a "Goodyear
blimp" brainstorm. Decide whether you are going to make a process or
a comparison ("then and now") essay. Then outline your points on your
"blimp outline". The 'blimp" is just an oval shape you draw around your
title or topic.
- No class sharing this
time. Since this is all personal self-evaluation, just write it up for your own
use and for me to evaluate as an imaginary future employer or dean. Keep only those
details in that you wish to make make public to the instructor.
After
completing the above activities, draft your essay!
