Process
5:
The Self Evaluation Paper
Who am I...really?
What strengths do I
have?
What patterns might I
change?
Am I a pleaser?
Am I self-motivated?
Do I have or need goals?
As always, remember we
use multiple modes of support and development
in this paper.
You may find it necessary to define terms, classify concepts, argue
points, compare and contrast,
use cause and effect, and show processes at work
in your life.
The Process 5 paper
For this paper, take a look
at where you believe you are today, where you
were as a child, a teen, before starting at Pima,
and so on. Identify areas
of strength that you would like to build
upon. How did you happen to
acquire these?
Identify areas that you feel
you can change for the better.
Where are these?
How did you come to have
these patterns?
Do you do things that help or
hinder you in the
goals that you set for yourself?
Audience
Think of this paper as a
chance to write for an important purpose, maybe to
get a job, to get into an
advanced training program or graduate school. The
reader is open to you and is
glad if you make a good case for your self. But
remember that such readers
also can detect "fluff" and a less-than-honest
assessment. Look over this
model essay.
