Process 1: Description

Description:
Using our first process of decription will entail some reading
for ideas.
Event: What event in your life made you very happy, sad, angry, or scared?
Time-out: Sit
with your event. You need to give it some time. Brainstorm
words as they come to you that have to do with the event.
Senses: Your
sense of hearing, smell, touch all can help. Listen to sounds
or music. Smell a flower that was there. Give details the minutes they need
to come to the surface.
Wells Box: We will meet H. G. Wells, a
brilliant lad who turned his life
experience into a fantastic journey to the future... Sometimes we can turn our
real experiences into something wonderful and strange. Sometimes
taking ourselves beyond our own box helps us to grow.
Format: Just send
all drafts as an email message. Peer comment drafts
should be at least 1 and 1/2 pp. (if double-spaced).
Be sure to make final draft at least
3-4 pp., double-spaced in WORD
(using 12 pt. new Times Roman or similar font.) You should
"save as"
a text file. Paste your drafts into email messages.
